Production Management

As the swine industry continues to grow and evolve, so do modern progressive swine operations.  To remain competitive, successful pork producers continue to become more efficient and productive.  Managing a successful swine operation can be intensive as a lot goes in to managing the day-to-day operations, employees, and economics.

At Suidae, we offer all aspects of production management from conception to market and will work with you to provide customizable management services that give you the flexibility to decide how involved you want to be in the day-to-day management of your farm.

Our comprehensive portfolio of farm management services can assist and navigate you towards success in key areas including facility management, accounting, human resources, and employee recruitment, training, and development.

Our highly skilled team of production supervisors have extensive knowledge and experience working with all types of swine operations.  Suidae management believes in a boots on the ground, hands-on approach knowing that it takes a strong team and an extensive support network to ensure site-managers and employees have the resources, training, and guidance they need in order to achieve high performance goals.  Regular visits to managed farms by our supervisors allows them to offer help with the daily operations and provide comprehensive oversight of production practices.

A group of newborn piglets with light pink skin and blue ear tags are nursing from their mother sow in a barn. They lie on a metal grate floor, huddled closely together. This setup reflects effective production management, ensuring the well-being and growth of the litter in a controlled environment.

A strong link exists between herd health and production.  Our swine veterinarians provide comprehensive health and production oversight by conducting regular herd health visits and working closely with production supervisors and farm staff to ensure challenges are identified early and any needed interventions are promptly implemented and production loss is limited.

Our grow-finish management services can provide coordinated pig flow management and transport scheduling for our managed farms.  Our team has extensive knowledge in pig-flow analysis and will work to help you meet low-cost, maximum-profitability goals.
